Does it cost anything to make a volunteer request with
VolunteerTibet.org?
Answer:
No, there are no fees to use the VolunteerTibet service.
Question:
How do I make a volunteer request posting on VolunteerTibet?
Answer:
If you haven't registered your organizatin with us,
simply follow
this link
to reach the organization-registration form
Otherwise, if you've already registered your organisation with us,
go to
the organisation login page, provide your login credentials, and
submit the details of a new Volunteer opportunity.
Question:
How do I see replies from different opportunity postings?
Answer:
Answer: When volunteers are interested in a particular volunteer
opportunity, they are requested to submit their name and email address.
VolunteerTibet then automatically sends them a short questionaire that
requests information about their skills, experience, and other relevant
data. This questionaire is then sent to your organisation to assist you in
choosing the right applicant. Your organisation is encouraged to ask
additional questions or references depending upon the volunteer position.

How can I change my organisation's password?
Answer:
After you log into VolunteerTibet with your login and password,
you should see your main admin (administration) page.
At the bottom of this page is a list of links under
"Managing Your Account."
Click on the "Change your password" link.
Question:
How can I refer potential volunteers directly to my
organisation's homepage on VolunteerTibet.org?
Answer:
After you are logged in and on your organisation's admin page,
you can find a link to your homepage under "Managing Your Account".
Click on the "homepage" link and you will find background information,
contact details, and all of your organisation's volunteer opportunities
listed on the site.
The address listed in the web browser's location window is your homepage
address. You can use this address to raise awareness about your
organisation's volunteer needs.
Question:
Can we have different people in our organisation be the
contact person for specific opportunities?
Answer:
Yes. Each volunteer request can have its own contact
person that is different from your organisation's primary
contact person. When you create the volunteer request,
simply enter in the information for your alternate contact
person in the Contact area of the form.
Question:
There's an error in my volunteer request. How can I change
the posting?
Answer:
From your main admin page (the first page you see after you login),
click on the "edit" link to the right of the volunteer opportunity name.
This will display a form similar to the one you used originally to create
the posting. Make your correction and click "submit". The change should be
immediately be reflected on the site.
Question:
I've filled a volunteer position, but we will need another
replacement in a few months. How can we save the posting
for later?
Answer:
You can always save the posting in your archive if you've
filled a position. Simply edit the posting from your admin page
and choose the "Remove Posting" button at the top of the form.
This will not permanently remove the posting;
it will place it in your archive so you can access it in the future.
You can find a link to your archive on the main admin page above
the "Post New Opportunity" button.
