Assistants are needed in an Art Therapy class. Volunteers should have training and experience in art therapy/teaching. Sensitivity and excellent communication skills are a must. Classes are usually held throughout the morning on weekdays from October 2007 onwards.
An Arts Coordinator is needed to run an after school arts class for a group of 10-15 children between 4.30-5.30 in the afternoon. The coordinator will be working together with two other volunteers to plan and carry out the art projects. Observe that due to lack of funding the volunteers are currently financing the arts supplies themselves. Volunteers will be expected to provide references and follow specific guidelines for working with the children and supervisors.
